Q. The date is set! When should I meet with you about flowers?

A. Typically, I like to meet with brides 6-8 months prior to their date. There are a few key months that tend to book quickly (May, June & October) so we may want to meet sooner.

Q. Do I need to bring anything with me to our meeting?

A. I encourage brides to look through wedding magazines, website, etc to find pictures of things they like & dislike. theknot.com is an excellent source for great ideas! Alabama Wedding Magazine is also a great local source as well…you can find this at local Books-A- Million or other stores that sale magazines. You don't necessarily have to find photos of exactly what you are looking for. You may find things where you like the style of the arrangement, but don't like the colors... or you really like the colors or particular flowers in a picture but are looking for a different style or presentation. Seeing a collection of things you are attracted to gives me a good insight into the types of things you may like for your wedding.

Also, fabric swatches, dress pictures, venue & vendor information are helpful.

Q. What can I expect to spend on flowers?

A. This IS a pretty broad question & will vary for each bride.

Flower selection, season, and arrangement styles determine pricing.

Example: A bride getting married in February on Valentine’s will pay more for roses due to holiday versus a bride getting married in March. Also someone whom chooses Peonies will pay more than someone that chooses Gerbera Daisies.

We do offer Cash and Carry weddings; this is where we provide bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages only. This is great for the Do-it yourself wedding and smaller weddings budgets. We will deliver the flowers to the venue on the day of your wedding. See Delivery Fees.

Q. Do you offer any rental items?

A. I have 6ft, 4ft, and 3ft Columns, Candelabras, Cylinder vases, and many others items… I am adding to my rental inventory all of the time so please ask if you are interested in something specific. Rental fees can be provided upon request. All rental items are for full service weddings only and will have additional delivery and set-up fees.

Q. Do you offer/charge for delivery?

A. Yes, I do offer delivery services for a fee. Rates will depend on location, number of trips, & setup time required. My minimum delivery charge is $125.

Cash and Carry orders (BQ’s, Boutonnières, & Corsages Only) are delivered to you or your venue for a minimum fee of $65. (Please ask if you need Pinning services)

Q. How do I book you for our date?

A. Following our initial free consultation, upon your request and after the $200 Quote Fee is received (see the Terms and Conditions about the Quote Fee) I will email you an itemized estimate for the arrangements we discussed. Once you have reviewed and accepted the quote a deposit of 1/2 of the estimated total will book your date & go towards your balance. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event at your scheduled final consultation. Your estimate is not set in stone…you can always add to it or take away from it within reason, all changes must be finalized prior to signing the contract. Also any additional orders can be added up to 2 weeks before your event and have to be paid for prior to the wedding date.

Q. Do you book more than one event per date?

A. Most times, yes. It really depends on the events. There are some instances where an event is large enough, that it will be my only booking. My maximum for a weekend (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) is three events.

Q. Do you offer other services?

A. Yes, I offer wedding coordinating, Price depends on the amount of time and the package chosen. See Wedding Coordination section of packet.
