Well what an event...and a busy weekend...I wore many hats this weekend... Florist/Designer, Maid of Honor, sister of the Bride, professional chair and table mover...lol. My sister Shelley and Allen's wedding turned out wonderful, God was truly shining down due to Rain was forcasted ALL weekend 80-90% and it did not rain a drop until way after the reception...Although we had to make a last minute desision to move the ceremony under the tent, it still looked great...although not as good as the beautiful tree and grass area in front of the water... but oh well, you never know on outside weddings...
I did many different designs that centered around beautiful Orange and Yellow Sunflowers...all the colors were so vibrant. The bride's bq consisted of Large Sunflowers, hot pink gerberas, black-eyed susans, green hypericum berries, and confetti spray roses. The bq was hand-tied with burlap and yellow ribbon. The bridesmaids and jr bridesmaids bq's consited of Green Mini Hydrangea, Mini sunflowers, hot pink gerberas, green hypericum berries, and confetti spray roses, hand-tied as well with burlap and yellow ribbon. I created 2 large Flower Balls or Pomanders of Orange Carnations and Hot Pink Gerberas, that hung on each side of the Floral Wreath. Under the cupcake cake was a wreath of flowers as well. I hung 4 ball jars filled with sunflowers, berries, spray roses, and black-eyed susan daisies behind the Food tables, and on each table the centerpieces constisted of Ball jars of sunflowers, spray roses, daisies, and berries surrounded by black river rocks. Just a side note... the bride, my sister is also a Bee-keeper and the honey was fresh from her hives, she gave those out a wedding favors...All in all it was another beautiful wedding.
